'Medusa' model table lamp designed by Olaf Von Bohr for Italian manufacturer Valenti Luce. The striking lamp features white aluminum strips arranged in distinctive alternating swirls set on a black metal base. When illuminated, light glows from between the slots to create a dramatic glowing effect. The sculptural lamp form evokes 1960's Space Age design of the era.  Each model of the design was hand crafted with slight variations in scale and proportions.
