Elegant Neoclassical chest of drawers from Italy, circa 1800. The two-drawer case on tapered legs is richly decorated with geometric banding and finely executed inlays. Particularly distinctive are the large circular rosettes with stylized foliate motifs decorating the drawer fronts, sides and top. Period brass fittings with rosette decoration. Professionally restored and hand-polished.
