Exceptional table lamp in clear Murano glass with characteristic Rostrato decoration, attributed to Barovier & Toso, Italy, probably 1940s. The tall, slender stem with a flared base supports a wide, conical lampshade. The entire glass surface is covered with densely arranged, hand-worked glass spikes that refract the light in multiple directions and give the lamp its sculptural appearance. Brass elements divide the stem into sections and form the round base. A dark spherical finial completes the upper section.
