An Art Deco bar cart designed by renound French architect Robert Mallet-Stevens. (1886-1945). Stevens was the founder of the UAM, the Union des Artistes Moderne, and was a leading proponent of Modernism in the inter-war period of the 1920's and 30's in France.
Fashioned of polished nickel with mirrored surfaces, the design features a tubular nickel frame indicative of the modernist streamlined style of the 1930's. The top features two handles allowing it to lift off the frame and be used as a serving tray.
