The color gradient transitions gracefully from red to white, demonstrating De Poli’s masterful command of the enamelling technique for which he achieved international acclaim. A similar bottle exists as part of a group of nine models, Series of Nine Models – Homage to Manhattan, made in 1967 for De Poli’s solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York.
