Initially trained as an opera singer, he later studied art in Belgrade and Vienna at the Academy of Fine Arts under Josef Dobrowsky, Josef Hoffmann, and Herbert Boeckl.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1212\"\u003eA scholarship brought him to France, where he established connections with artists such as Picasso and Dalí. Rutsch exhibited internationally and received numerous awards.
