Biedermeier secretary featuring flanking ebonized columns with brass bases and capitals. Equipped with three drawers, the bureau has a top drawer whose front can be folded down for added functionality. Upon opening the writing flap, a meticulously crafted interior is revealed, complete with a central compartment with fire-shaded velarium, a stepped middle drawer, parquet floor, and mirrored back panel. Surrounding the compartment are smaller ebonized columns, accompanied by two additional compartments and smaller drawers. The writing surface is elegantly ebonized, complementing the walnut root veneer. Expertly hand-polished, this secretary combines practicality with exquisite craftsmanship.
