Elegant daybed by Gio Ponti and Emilio Lancia.  Elongated form with curved arms on either end decorated with carved stylized fletching.  The day bed rests on six tapered legs, the pairs of end legs beautifully curved to match the arms. The legs have brass decorations at the knees. Walnut, walnut burl, brass.  Italy 1930's. Certification from the Gio Ponti Archives accompanies this piece.
