Large executive desk with glass top and a gently curved form with angled side wings. The desk stands on legs with brass caps and features a lockable drawer beneath the top. Veneered in mahogany, the desk has been professionally restored and hand polished. Finished on all sides, it can be placed freely in a room and viewed from all angles. Giovanni Gariboldi was an architect and became director of the Italian firm Richard Ginori in 1946. A comparable desk has been attributed to him and is noted as originating from the company’s showroom in Florence.
