The conical, slightly bulbous vessels each feature a central cartouche. The lid finials are shaped as ribbons.

Each bears a blue underglaze scepter mark on the underside. One urn carries the version of the mark used between 1962 and 1992, while the other carries the version used between 1993 and 2000.
