Seven-piece desk set from the Viennese Empire period, circa 1815, made of granite with polished steel mounts.

The ensemble consists of various writing accessories, including an inkstand with two lidded containers and a central bowl, a candlestick, a letter holder, and additional trays and holders.

The finely crafted steel mounts feature Neoclassical ornaments with volutes, rosettes, and profiled details. The combination of gray granite and polished steel is characteristic of the elegant design of the Viennese Empire period.
